Destiny 2's third expansion, "Forsaken", is getting closer and closer. Developer Bungie sees this as the perfect time to introduce free aspects to players. The new Gambit Mode will be out before Forsaken, giving players the opportunity to scout the game first.

This is the official description of the game mode:

"A 4v4 hybrid mode that merges PvE and PvP experiences into an epic battle. It's a new way to play Destiny 2, offering something for all players to enjoy, appealing to those who thrive on the competition and unpredictable elements of PvP gameplay, while seamlessly blending the collaborative and cooperative elements of PvE."

This new game mode will be out on September 4th, accompanying the new expansion Forsaken. The free trial starts on September 1st for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

Destiny 2 is available for
the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
