Love is not quite in the air yet in
Destiny 2. Crimson Days, the game's annual Valentine's Day seasonal event, was originally slated to start on February 5, but it looks like it has been pushed back.
In this week's update from Bungie, the developer announced that Crimson Days will now begin on February 12, 2019. It will run for one week and end on February 19, 2019.
Bungie confirmed that this year's Crimson Days event will be "very similar to last year," but added that there will be a few new rewards as well as ways to obtain them. We don't yet have details, but Bungie promised more information as we approach the event.
Additionally, last year's Crimson Days rewards will also be available once again. Crimson Days 2018 included the 2v2 Clash playlist in PvP, which I assume will return. Playing this mode rewarded players with Crimson Engrams, an emblem, and an exotic Ghost Shell. Additionally, an ornament for the exotic Wardcliff Coil was also rewarded for completing a raid activity, while a special emote was given for finishing the nightfall.
