DOOM Eternal is the direct sequel to Bethesda and id Software's critically acclaimed DOOM(2016), and this new entry in the series has been praised almost to no end by critics and players alike; not surprising, since the original is one of the best first-person shooters ever made, and the new game improves almost every aspect of the original.
The developers at id Software have also revealed that they would still be supporting the game after its launch, and they have managed to stay true to their promise by releasing new content for players to get the most out of the DOOM Eternal experience; a game that is already qutie generous in regards to content.
While Bethesda and id Software have been releasing additional content since the release of DOOM Eternal, it was earlier this month when they revealed that the game would be getting a brand-new single player campaign in the form of "The Ancient Gods, Part One", although details about it where somewhat scarce.
"The Ancient Gods, Part One" campaign did get a teaser trailer, but the developers revealed that a proper trailer for this new campaign would be shared at gamescom on Thursday the 27th of August; and what do you know, that's actually today.
That's right, Bethesda and id Software have just released an action-packed trailer for DOOM Eternal's new The Ancient Gods, Part One" single-player campaign, which finally gives us a look at the new content that will be added, and also reveals that it will become available on Tuesday the 20th of October.
