The wait is almost over, as Bethesda and id Software's highly anticipated
DOOM Eternal is finally becoming available next
Friday the 20th of March, and it does really look like the developers have done their best to outdo themselves and surpass the previous game; a game that set the bar way up high.
DOOM Eternal Creative Director Hugo Martin was recently on the latest Joe Rogan Experience, revealing a bunch of details bout the upcoming title, and even mentioning tht they already have plans for the future; downloadable content and maybe, even, a brand-new project.
"
We're already moving on to… I don’t want to say 'the next thing' – that is a PR answer, because I'm not allowed to say that – but we have ideas, certainly, and DLC [for Doom Eternal]," reveals Martin.
"
Certainly we're always dual-tracking things and talking always, because you never know when the cool idea is going to come along and you're [always] jotting down notes. We keep those conversations going on the side and see how it goes."
Martin is obviously playing coy about the ideas they have for downloadable content, especially when considering that
DOOM Eternal hasn't even released yet. It is also interesting to know that the development team is already thinking about the future and upcoming projects — whatever it may be — although it is to be expected.
Joe Rogan and Hugo Martin also talk about Coronavirus, food, other id Software games, and a lot more, so be sure to give the whole interview a watch and let us know what you think.
