After a slight delay, id Software and Bethesda's highly anticipated DOOM Eternal was finally released on the 20th of March for the PlayStation 4, Xbox one, and PC; giving players the chance to rip and tear through hordes of demons as the Doom Slayer.
Much like its predecessor, DOOM Eternal was met with nothing but praise from critics and fans of the DOOM series — which isn't really a surprise considering just how great DOOM(2016) was; with some even saying that it helped redefine the first-person shooter genre.
It isn't just tight gameplay mechanics and non-stop demon-slaying action that has fans of the series praising both DOOM(2016) and the recently released DOOM Eternal, as both games' head-banging soundtrack composed by Mick Gordon makes for quite the empowering experience.
Today we have some great news for fans of the DOOM series, especially those who have been enjoying the last couple of entries' music, as DOOM Eternal's soudntrack has just become available to download for Collector's Edition owners.
The good news don't end there, as id Software has also revealed that the DOOM Eternal soundtrack will also become available on Spotify, iTunes, and other services in the coming weeks. With the announcement, the developer has also given us a look at the soundtrack's cover.
