Far Cry 5 is getting its first Season Pass DLC in the form of
Hours of Darkness—which is likely to have players coming back to the game for some more of the crazy action
Far Cry games are known for.
Hours of Darkness won't be taking place in Hope County at all and, instead, will be taking players back to the unforgiving jungles of war-torn Vietnam. As players take control of Wendell Redler, their objective is simple: rescue your captured team mates and survive the ominous Vietnam jungle until backup arrives.
With the huge success that
Far Cry 5 has had since launch—and even being able to sell a
staggering $310 million in its first week—
Hours of Darkness will give players even more reasons to go back to the game, and new players to purchase
Far Cry 5 and enjoy the new content that is already available.
It's important to note that the
Hours of Darkness DLC is free for players that acquired the Season Pass, and it will cost $11.99 for those who want to purchase the DLC separately.
Wendell Redler is more than just a Hope County resident, he’s a veteran soldier of the Vietnam War. Listen to him recount his glory days, as you travel back in time to war-torn Vietnam to take down Viet-Cong. Trapped behind enemy lines, rescue your squad mates and evacuate to safety in the first war-based Far Cry.
Far Cry 5: Hours of Darkness is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC right now.
