Ubisoft Montreal's gaudy extravaganza
Far Cry: New Dawn finally releases this Friday alongside 4A Games'
Metro: Exodus, so it will be interesting to see which game gets more praise from players and critics, as both shooters are single-player, story-driven titles.
New Dawn was officially announced in December, so this
FC5 narrative sequel will be one of the fastest releases in Ubisoft's publishing history.
IGN has shared nearly 20 minutes of pure gameplay footage from the post-apocalyptic video game, giving us a chance to take a closer look at its story-heavy intro and opening scenes, that set up
New Dawn's main storyline. The video also puts the spotlight on the open-world shooter's main antagonists: The Twins. In
New Dawn, Lou and Mickey are leading the Highwaymen, a group of marauders and psychos, who seek to take over the remaining resources of the completely ruined, radioactive world.
Ubisoft has also released a new "customization" trailer, allowing you to learn more about making your
Far Cry: New Dawn experience a bit more personal by showing off your own, unique style. Check it out:
Dive into a transformed vibrant post-apocalyptic Hope County, Montana, 17 years after a global nuclear catastrophe. Join fellow survivors and lead the fight against the dangerous new threat the Highwaymen, and their ruthless leaders The Twins, as they seek to take over the last remaining resources.
Far Cry: New Dawn launches on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on February 15, 2019.
