If you signed up for the
Fortnite Invite Event on iOS check your email! Epic Games has announced that the first wave of invites for the have gone out.
If you're one of the lucky ones, you should have directions on how to download the game via the Apple Store. If you didn't receive an invite, fret not; Epic says this is only the initial round of invites.
"We will be sending more in the coming days and weeks, so if you don’t get one right away, don’t worry," the developer promises. You can still sign up here to participate

Epic was also quick to remind folks playing
Fortnite on iOS that this version is still
"in an early state and we look forward to your feedback as we iterate and improve."
Fortnite Battle Royale on mobile devices will be the exact same game as seen on consoles and PC -
"same gameplay, same map, same content, same weekly updates," Epic said when it was first announced. Additionally, the mobile version of the game will support Cross Play and Cross Progression
between PS4,
Xbox One, PC and Mac. This will allow players to squad up with friends and play together, regardless of device.
Fortnite on iOS requires an internet connection and one: iOS 11 on iPhone 6S/SE, iPad Mini 4, iPad Air 2, iPad 2017, iPad Pro devices or later. Support for Android devices is said to be coming
"in the next few months."
