Fortnite's update v7.20 rolled out today and it's a pretty big one. The latest update contains new items, gameplay adjustments, and bug fixes for all three of the game's modes: Battle Royale, Creative, and Save the World.
For Battle Royale, update v7.20 introduces the Scoped Revolver, an alternative to the sniper rifle that allows you to "hit precise shots against enemies." This weapon is found in Epic and Legendary variants (42/44 damage per shot) from standard loot options, and it fires Medium Ammo.
Today's update also reintroduces the Glider redeploy functionality. As previously detailed, the controversial mechanic has been retooled and transformed into a new Glider item that actually takes up an inventory slot when equipped. You can read more about the Glider redeploy mechanic
here.
In addition to these new items, Epic has added an overeating mechanic to the Minigun which occurs after approximately six seconds of fire; change the projectile trajectory of sniper rifles; and made a ton of bug fixes and gameplay tweaks to the battle royale mode.
For Creative mode, you can now visit Frosty Fortress, a new arctic island with structures already placed on it that's ready to be played on right away. New Farmstead-themed Prefabs are also available, allowing you to build maps inspired by the the great frontier.
Lastly, for Save the World, you can now partake in "Frostnite Challenge 3 - New Wave Holiday." In this weekly challenge, enemy waves send a large horde of the same enemy type at you; you must eliminate a specific number of enemies of that type to progress to the next wave.
