Marvel's
Avengers: Infinity War officially became the highest-grossing superhero movie of all time last week, so it's not surprising that the beloved (or hated) characters from the movie show up across all media. To celebrate the premiere of
Infinity War, Epic Games announced a special limited-time event for their wildly popular sandbox survival game,
Fortnite that allows you to lay waste as Thanos.
But that’s not all, as
Fortnite's version of the Mad Titan's dance moves puts Chris Pratt's Star-Lord to shame. The IGN crew recently sat down with the actor responsible for bringing Thanos to life in Marvel Studios' juggernaut, Josh Brolin (who also plays mutant Cable in the upcoming
Deadpool 2), and after seeing the footage from the game, the actor finally responded to his character being in
Fortnite.
As Thanos flew down to the map, Brolin said,
“He’s flying, I don’t remember flying. That’s fake. That’s really cool, though." His surprised reaction is understandable as it sounds like the actor had no involvement in the crossover, as he explained, "
I've been seeing this Fortnite thing everywhere, Fortnite, Thanos, and I had no idea what anybody was talking about."
When it comes to Thanos' wild dance moves, Brolin had some questions. "
Why is he dancing? I don't understand. I don't know if I like that," Brolin said. "
I wish I had done the mocap for that," the Oscar nominated actor added. Well, Mr. Brolin, we have some good news for you as the players will say goodbye to the
Avengers: Infinity War event and dancing Thanos today when Update 4.2 goes live.
