Last November, Epic Games and the National Football League joined forces
in a crossover promotion that saw the addition of NFL-themed outfits in the popular battle royale game
Fortnite. The limited time promotion allowed players to purchase an uniform-themed outfit that's style could be customized between each match to look like any of the 32 NFL teams uniform designs along with a jersey number of the player's choosing.
The promotion lasted just a limited time, but it seems that Epic and the NFL are bringing back the uniforms just in time for Sunday's Super Bowl LIII matchup between the Los Angeles Rams and New England Patriots.
The NFL Outfit will be available to purchase from
Fortnite's in-game shop starting on Friday, February 1, at 7:00 p.m. ET. In addition to all 32 teams being available as customization options, Epic and the NFL are adding two additional outfit styles - white uniforms for both the Patriots and Rams.
Additionally, Epic will be giving away a free Pigskin Toy from the item shop on Saturday, February 2, at 7:00 p.m. ET.
As one final celebratory event,
Fortnite will be hosting a limited time mode that'll let players settle the big game on the battlefield. The new NFL Rumble LTM will pit two teams of 20 players in Patriots or Rams outfits against each other to determine the true champion.
