People Can Fly has announced the expansion of its development teams, with the opening of two new studios, People Can Fly UK based in Newcastle, UK and second studio in Poland, People Can Fly Rzeszow. Newcastle is the northern hub of video games development in the UK, with other AAA studios such as Ubisoft Reflections and Sumo, and a wide range of indie developers.

Rzeszow will be another PCF's studio in Poland after PCF Warsaw. The Rzeszow team will contain around 30 developers that worked on Sniper: Ghost Warrior franchise and were fired after CI Game's change of strategy caused by the underwhelming sales of Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3. In 2015, People Can Fly announced that they would part ways with their parent company Epic Games, a process that had begun with the release of Gears of War: Judgement.

People Can Fly currently hires over 150 developers in three studios. Interesting enough, all of them seem to working on "a new IP, a AAA shooter developed alongside Square Enix." Can it be this mysterious Destiny Comet that was leaked by Walmart Canada last week? Only time (or another leak) will tell, but we're sure that the creators of Fortnite, Bulletstorm, Painkiller, and Gears of War 3 are working on something special.
