Overwatch has become another smash hit for Blizzard Entertainment. With a strong number of people that have flocked to the game, it appears that the game is here to stay. However, a strictly multiplayer game can be ruined if there are large amounts of players that use programs for cheating. Just ask those who played Ubisoft's The Division. The game was exploited and many players moved on from the game. Hopefully Overwatch doesn't suffer the same fate.
Blizzard recently banned a large number of Overwatch accounts due to in game cheating. They've now taken it one step further with a lawsuit against Watchover Tyrant, a german based company that created a package that allows players to view all enemies no matter where they are on the map. It doesn't stop there, the package also gives players a host of other enhancing abilities that sways the game in their favor.
The suit is completely based on copyright infringement, but that hasn't stopped Watchover Tyrant from making promises to make more stuff for Blizzard's games. They've already enhanced every other Blizzard game... so why not stop there. They've already made a ton of money off (suspected) of their programs. If Blizzard wins that is a huge win against cheaters and the low life's out there.
