Overwatch fans were eager for the game to arrive on the Nintendo Switch following an interview, earlier this year, in which Blizzard stated that a port would be "feasible". While we seem to be far from it actually happening, Overwatch's game director recently had an interview with Eurogamer on the topic - in which he stated that Blizzard are "very open-minded" regarding it.

Our philosophy has always been we want as many players playing Overwatch as possible, and we want to reach as many possible Overwatch players as are out there. We will always explore a platform if we think we could make it viable – both the technology and the business relationship. We would love to do it.

Though Kaplan has admitted previously that Overwatch being ported to the Switch would be a challenge, he's still hopeful - as he explained: "We don't have anything to announce or any plans with Nintendo or Switch at this time, but... it's something we're very open-minded about."

What do you think of Kaplan's comments? Would you like to see Overwatch make its way onto the Nintendo Switch?

Overwatch is out now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
