All of Moira's abilities are colour coded in yellow for biotic healing and purple for decay damage.
Moira's primary ability is her Biotic Grasp.
Mouse 1 will use her left hand to expend biotic energy to hear her allies in front of her (the energy fires like Mei's primary fire). Her Biotic Grasp healing works on a resource meter that depletes as it is used on allies. This resource meter's base recharge speed is quite slow but can be greatly accelerated by inflicting damage through her Mouse 2 long-range beam weapon from her right hand that decays enemy health.
Moira's next ability is the bouncy Biotic Orb, which is on a 10 second cooldown.
The new Support can launch a rebounding biotic or decaying sphere. Depending on which variation is chosen; this sphere will heal allies and decay enemies is passes by with a range similar to that of Orisa's Halt, as opposed to Zenyatta's Orbs which attach to allies and enemies. This sphere, as said before, can bounce across surfaces making it useful for launching at enemies in a room to get a great amount of spike damage or to heal allies trading blows with enemies in a choke point. The Biotic Orb will certainly be an ability that takes time to master as players will have to figure out the best way to launch it to maximise the number of bounces it gets.
Moira's movement ability Fade will allow her to constantly zip across the battlefield with ease due to the tiny 6 second cooldown.
Fade will allow Moira to teleport a short distance and will give her invulnerability when teleporting; allowing her to escape dives from enemy tanks and flankers, as well as, reach endangered allies who have accidentally broken away from the group.
Finally, Moira's ultimate Coalescence will blast its way into the meta.
Coalescence allows Moira to channel a long-range beam consisting of both biotic energy and decay damage! The devastating beam will bypass all barriers and players; allowing her to heal and damage everyone it is aimed at. This ultimate sounds perfect for clutch plays and will certainly swing many team fights to your team's favour!
Moira is expected to be released onto the PTR (Public Test Region) on PC this Tuesday and onto the live client after a few weeks of testing and tweaks.
