Overwatch is celebrating Mardi Gras with a special-in game event. Ashe's Mardi Gras Challenge has gone live on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
The event runs from February 25 through March 9 and features nine special cosmetic rewards: six sprays, two player icons, and the epic Mardi Gras Ashe (and Bob) skin. Don't worry, you don't have to do anything wild or degrading to receive them; you only have to play the game.
In traditional fashion, you can unlock the rewards by playing and winning games. Winning three games unlocks the two player icons; six games gets you the spray; and nine games unlocks the Mardi Gras Ashe (and Bob) Epic Skin.
You can unlock additional Mardi Gras Challenge rewards simply by watching Twitch streamers. Five Ashe's Mardi Gras Challenge sprays will be rewarded via Twitch Drops any time you tune in and watch an approved
Overwatch broadcaster.

The in-game event was accompanied by an update that introduces Experimental Mode. This is a way for the Overwatch team to "test major gameplay changes" in the live game environment. The first test is Triple Damage, which tweaks the team comp roles to one tank, three damage, and two supports.
Blizzard introduced Role Queue a while back, but the forced team comp of 2 damage, 2 support and 2 tanks per team created longer queue times. Experimental Mode will allow them to mess around with various gameplay settings and any progression you earn by participating will be kept in your regular account, unlike the PTR. Just because a change is introduced in Experimental Mode doesn't necessarily mean it will go into the live game, however.
