OVERWATCH: Gameplay Footage Reveals Our First Look At The Game's Newest Hero "Sigma" In Action

Just the other day, Blizzard announced the next playable character that's coming to Overwatch. Now we've got some gameplay footage which gives us our first look at Sigma's abilities in action.

Just a couple of days ago, Blizzard Entertainment announced the newest playable character that's coming to, their popular multiplayer-versus game, Overwatch. A teaser has been released which focuses on Sigma as a character but now we've gotten our first look at him in the midst of battle thanks to some brand new gameplay footage.

Sigma is an eccentric astrophysicist who has harnessed the power of gravity. As a playable character, he's got a plethora of abilities at his disposal. "Hyperspheres" are gravitic charges that can bounce off of surfaces and eventually implode, this causes damage to nearby enemies. Sigma can also propel a floating shield and halt it wherever he pleases.

The new hero can freeze incoming projectiles in mid-air and compile a bunch of debris to fling at opposers. His ultimate move is named "Gravitic Flux" and involves Sigma taking flight and launching enemies into the sky before promptly slamming them back down into the ground.
