As
Overwatch's Lunar New Year celebration rapidly approaches, developer Blizzard has revealed the second exclusive skin for the seasonal event.
"Marked by the dragon," Hanzo will be the recipient of a new Lunar New Year skin. Officially dubbed "Huang Zhong Hanzo," the festive skin appears to be traditional military armor with the name likely referencing the
famed Chinese military general from the late Eastern Han dynasty.
The same tweet reads "Snipe down flag runners," suggesting the Capture the Flag/Dog mode will be returning this year. The 2019
Overwatch Lunar New Year is the "Year of the Pig," so it'll be interesting to see if the mode is tweaked at all.
Huang Zhong Hanzo is the second new Lunar New Year skin to be revealed, following
Lü Bü Reaper. Blizzard has not clarified if these will be classified as Legendary or Epic skins, though I have a feeling we'll be paying 3,000 credits for them.
The 2019 Lunar New Year kicks off in
Overwatch on January 24 and runs through February 18, 2019.
