Just a couple of days ago, rumors started doing the rounds and suggesting that Blizzard's critically acclaimed Overwatch would be revealed for the Nintendo Switch during an also-rumored Nintendo Direct presentation.

Yesterday, Nintendo officially announced that they will be streaming a Nintendo Direct presentation today at 3:00PM Pacific Time, 6:00 PM Eastern Time, and 11:00PM United Kingdom Time, altlhough Overwatch still hasn't been confirmed — which is expected, consideringthat Blizzard would rather announce it officially during Nintendo's presentation.

Well, it seems that not only has Overwatch been unofficially confirmed for the Nintendo Switch, but we may now also know exactly when it will be releasing — as accidentally revealed by some retailers.

According to Kotaku's sources, retailers have leaked that Blizzard's Overwatch for the Nintendo Switch will release on the 18th of October in Europe and will likely release on the 15th of October in North America.

Official confirmation, if all of these rumors are to be believed, should come from an official announcement during today's Nintendo Direct presentation, but everything points to these leaks being legitimate — which is great news for both Nintendo and Overwatch fans.
