When you examine the fact that there's tangible evidence by PUBG's player base has dropped by 50% since January, it's no wonder Bluehole is taking Epic Games to court.  In fact, one has to wonder what was taking so long?

In January, PUBG peaked at  3.2 million concurrent players on PC, before dropping to 2.8 million in February and 1.4 million in May.  Still, PUBG does have a stranglehold over the PC market, as it's still far and away the most played game on Steam.

The debate between gamers as to whether PUBG or Fortnite is the superior battle royale shooter has waged for months but if the current trend continues, Bluehole might actually need some help from the legal system to keep the lights on.

Where do you fall on the debate between PUBG and Fortnite? Let us know in the comment section below.
