Krafted Games, a small indie company, has just released their first game in the form of a rogue-like FPS (first-person shooter),
Polygod. Difficulty and timing are the name of the game here, and it blends those perfectly with its low poly and surrealist art style to create a very distinct and impressive gaming experience, even by indie gaming standards.
In a game where players, both solo or in a group, look to beat randomly generated maps to collect souls by killing things, and can use those souls to unlock blessings that can help you along the way to beating the game. There are over 100 blessings to collect and upgrade, countless boss battles, and even 15 different unlockable characters to play.
It harbors positive reviews on
Steam, scoring an average of 8/10 so far, which is not bad for its first day on the market.
Here's is a trailer for
Polygod:
Polygod is available now for Windows PC (via Steam), Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One and retails for
$14.99 USD.
