In 2019, the player will have a chance to purchase at least two bug-budget video games set in post-apocalyptic environments – Ubisoft Montreal's
Far Cry: New Dawn and Avalanche Studios and id Software’s
RAGE 2. Both games will present drastically different visions of the end of the world, as
FCND and
R2 are equally filled with bright colors, creative weaponry, crazy side characters, and "fun."
It looks like both Ubisoft and Bethesda have acknowledged those striking similarities and their recent exchange of Twitter is definitely one of the funniest ones we've seen in a long while. The whole conversation started two days ago with a photoshopped version of the
FC:ND cover art, matching the gaudy aesthetics and aggressive violetness of
R2, posted on the game's official Twitter account.
It didn’t take long to get Ubisoft's response, as the French developer said "
