Despite being a generally well-made production,
Star Wars: Battlefront II ultimately failed to live up to Electronic Arts' sales goals. Thanks to the aggressive and mindless use of loot boxes, microtransactions, and never-stopping monetization, many players have turned their backs on the title to never come back to it, despite DICE's ambitious efforts to improve the game via the ongoing post-launch support.
While EA might be disappointed with the current shape of
BFII, DICE is not planning to abandon the title anytime soon, as the latest expansion introduces players to the ex-Jedi turned menacing Sith lord, Count Dooku and the Genosis map in the Blast, Heroes vs. Villains, and Custom Arcade modes. All of that available for PS4, XO, and PC now in the
Darth Tyranus update that went live just two days ago.
Count Dooku has arrived with his default Sith Lord outfit, donning a brown cape, and the Dark Ritual Appearance will be available to unlock on January 30. It's definitely good news for fans of George Lucas'
Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones and
The Clone Wars series, as Dooku (played by the late Christopher Lee in the movie) is one of the most prominent characters in the
Star Wars universe.
