Unlike some recently released looter shooters,
Tom Clancy's The Division 2's streets of Washington D.C. are filled with activities to do, enemies to take down, bases to upgrade, and missions to complete. For players who haven't played the original game, it might be a lot to take in, as
The Division 2 takes place seven months after the deadly smallpox virus was released in New York and ruined that once-great city.
To learn more about the lore of
The Division, Ubisoft has released the
World of Tom Clancy's The Division book, crafted in partnership Dark Horse. According to Ubisoft, the 192-page-long book will give you to the opportunity
"to learn all there is to know about the tactical methods, the high-tech tools, and the all-important mission of the Division," and you can take a look at its new teaser trailer below.
The French publisher has also shared a special trailer for
The Division 2 that focuses solely on the looter shooter's music. The behind-the-scenes video unveils many secrets about the music and sound of the acclaimed game as the development team apparently visited many locations (from Chernobyl to Washington) to create something organically correct and a bit closer to our reality. Take a look:
Washington D.C. is on the brink of collapse. Lawlessness and instability threaten our society, and rumors of a coup in the capitol are only amplifying the chaos. All active Division agents are desperately needed to save the city before it's too late. You are a member of the Division, an elite group of civilian agents charged with being the last line of defense. With DC at risk, it's time to gear up and use your unique skills to take on this new threat.
