As promised, DICE will launch the first major update for their struggling FPS
Battlefield V on Tuesday, December 4th, matching the arrival of a brand new Panzerstorm map, the Practice Range, Vehicle Visual Customization, and the new
War Stories episode:
The Last Tiger, which will serve as the ending of the
Battlefield V solo camping told from the perspective of the damaged German tank crew.
The Panzerstorm map takes place in Belgium during the German Invasion in May 1940, which was spearheaded by Wehrmacht mechanized units, featuring 7 vehicle slots per team. The Practice Range gives you and your squad (of up to three friends) a chance to hone your aim, or fire up the planes and tanks of
Battlefield V, as poor aim can cost you points, a victory and even your life in the actual game.
The highly-anticipated, and missing at launch, Vehicle Visual Customization, is also coming in the free update, giving you an opportunity to personalize all the vehicles you've unlocked in the game. Thankfully, the customization only affects the look of your vehicles, so the ones who paid additional money for cosmetic-only items will have no unfair advantage over the rest of the community.
