With Season 5 of
Fortnite coming to a close this week, Epic Games has begun to tease Season 6. The developer took to social media today to post the first teaser image for the upcoming season, which begins September 27.
The image, which you can see below, features the game's signature llama donning headphones. His image is reflected within the purple cube that has been moving around the map throughout Season 5 before finally falling into Loot Lake and turning it into a giant bounce pad.
The image is captioned: "All great parties need a DJ," perhaps suggesting some sort of DJ outfit will be one of the battle pass rewards for Season 6.
Typically, these teasers indicate the theme for an upcoming season. With Season 4, for example, Epic
teased the arrival of superheroes and villains through a series of images within a comet. Season 5 was
teased with an image of a Kitsune mask, which ultimately went on to become one of the outfits in the battle pass.
We'll find out soon enough, as Season 6 of
Fortnite Battle Royale is
slated to begin on September 27.
