Two new Street Fighter characters are coming to Fortnite. Epic Games announced its latest collaboration and the second to feature characters from the popular fighting game series. As revealed today, Cammy and Guile, two of Street Fighter's most beloved characters, will make their way to the battle royale game on August 7 at 8:00 p.m. ET.
The Guile Outfit will feature him in his classic green fatigues as worn in the original Street Fighter II. There's also an alternative outfit of him in in camo swim trunks and a black tank top. He'll also get an emote and a K.O. back bling.
Delta Red's Cammy will also be featured in her classic outfit, and will also have a Tactical Cammy Variant outfit. You'll also be able to equip the Borealis Backer Back Bling and an emote as well.
While you can purchase these Outfits individually from the Item Shop, the Cammy & Guile Gear Bundle will unlock some additional cosmetics, including a loading screen featuring the two, Guile's Knuckle Buster Pickaxe, Cammy's Delta Red Bowie Blade Pickaxe, and the V-Trigger Vector Glider (inspired by the original Guile stage).
Cammy and Guile are the second batch of characters from Street Fighter to make their way into Fortnite. Chun-Li and Ryu were released earlier this year.
While not confirmed, it's possible that Epic Games has plans to add more of the original Street Fighter characters to Fortnite in the future. Prior to revealing Cammy and Guile, Epic tweeted a variety of Street Fighter characters featured in a character-select screen with the Fortnite Battle Bus crossing between the United States and the U.S.S.R.
