A newly discovered video, found within the code of Epic Games' immensely popular battle-royale game, seems to reveal that Wreck-It Ralph is set to crossover with Fortnite.
The video sees the titular character of the animated Disney franchise briefly run on screen, wave to the viewer, and continue on his jog. It has been uploaded to Twitter and re-confirmed by multiple others - within the replies of the below thread as well as in various Fortnite-dedicated Discord servers.
Check out the video below:
This, of course, isn't Epic's first time crossing over with a major upcoming Disney property. Earlier this year, Avengers: Infinity War antagonist, Thanos invaded the battle-royale in a briefly available gamemode.
Given the name of the file, that being "18_1023_RiR_Reels_2397_2CBR_TESTVERSION_v2.mp4", it seems that this time around the cross-promotion won't be as extreme. Fans speculate that Ralph will be discoverable, in-game, on one of the screens amid the "Risky Reels" location.
We also know, thanks to a prior leak regarding the upcoming animated sequel, that Fortnite characters will feature within Ralph Breaks The Internet - click here to find out more on that.
Ralph Breaks The Internet is in theatres now.
