Overwatch Uprising, the lore-based seasonal event in the otherwise competitive multiplayer game, is returning on April 10, Blizzard announced on Twitter.
For those who missed it last year, Uprising is a co-op Arcade brawl mode that takes place in a modified version of King’s Row, as you are sent seven years into the past to a pivotal moment in history from before the fall of Overwatch. As one of four members of a strike team of Overwatch agents - including tracer - you must fight through the streets of King’s Row to quell an uprising led by Null Sector, a group of omnics.
Similar to Junkenstein's Revenge, a team of 4 players complete objectives while fighting off hordes of AI-controlled enemies in true PvE fashion. In the normal version for the game players must choose between Tracer, Torbjorn, Reinhart, and Mercy, however, there’s an all heroes version where you can choose any hero.
In addition to the co-op game mode, players can also unlock over 100 Uprising-themed items, including Skins, Emotes, Highlight Intros and more.
