Capcom's highly anticipated Mega Man 11 has finally debuted today for consoles and Steam, and players have been able to get their hands own the game—which some even say it poses quite the challenge.

Let's face it, a Mega Man game wouldn't be a Mega Man game if the game didn't feature any rage-inducing stages, or too difficult to complete—which can also lead to some rage-inducing moments. If you're one of those players who are struggling with Mega Man 11, the people over at the PlayStation Blog have got you covered as they give out some pretty useful tips to beating the opening stage.

While Mega Man games have always allowed players to decide which stage to go first, it is still hard figuring out which one is the easiest path; or at least which Robot Master doesn't need a special weapon to be defeated. The PlayStation Blog suggest going to Block Man's stage first, as it is the boss players are more likely to defeat with the available items at the beginning of the game.

The first thing to keep in mind is that Mega Man has now some special abilities in the form of the Double Gear System, which allows the Blue Bomber to slow down time with the Speed Gear, power up his Mega Buster with the Power Gear, or go for broke and use the Double Gear Technique, which will allow Mega Man to trigger both gears simultaneously.

In order to use each gear, players need to press R1 for the Power Gear and R2 for the Speed Gear. Pressing both R1+R2 at the same time will make Mega Man go into Double Gear Technique mode.

When it comes to Block Man's stage itself, like any proper Mega Man game, players will have to overcome a bunch of platforming challenges while keeping an eye out for their surroundings—always being ready to start jumping and shooting. When facing the Mid-boss, it is best to use the Speed Gear when the weakness is exposed and try to land as many hits as possible before the boss moves—it takes some time but the Speed Gear gets things done.

As for Block Man himself, he will go berserk and begin using his own Power Gear—which allows him to transform into a giant robot. The key to defeating that Power Gear form is to aim Mega Man's powershots at the glowing red weak spot. It may sound easy but it really isn't, so players need to be very careful when trying to avoid his attacks—which is why using the Speed Gear for this fight is highly recommended; especially when Block Man is big.

Mega Man is back! The newest entry in this iconic series blends classic, challenging 2D platforming action with a fresh new visual style. The new Double Gear system boosts Mega Man's speed and power for a new twist to the satisfying gameplay the series is known for.

Mega Man 11 is available on the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Steam today.
