We have some great news for PlayStation players, as we have confirmation that Bend Studio's critically acclaimed survival horror game Days Gone is one of the many titles that will be compatible with Sony's highly anticipated, and soon-to-be-released PlayStation 5.
The best news is that Days Gone will not only be compatible with the PlayStation 5, but it will also be getting quite the bump in frame rate and resolution thanks to to the power of Sony's next-gen console, which should give players even more of an incentive to either replay the game, or try it out for the first time on new hardware.
According to Bend Studio, players will be able to transfer their data from PlayStation 4 to the PlayStation 5, allowing them to pick up right where they left off once they boot up Days Gone on the upcoming console. On top of this, the developer also confirms that the game will be playable at up to 60FPS and with dynamic 4K resolution.
Days Gone was originally released in April of 2019 to some very positive reviews from both players and critics, so it is great to see that the game will not only be compatible with the PlayStation 5 but it will also be given a makeover that will make it look better than ever.
Set in the beautiful, volcanic scarred high-desert of the Pacific Northwest, Days Gone is an open-world action-adventure game where you play as Deacon St. John, a Drifter and bounty hunter who would rather risk the dangers of the broken road than live in one of the “safe” wilderness encampments.
Days Gone is currently available for the PlayStation 4.
