Those who have had the pleasure of playing Little Nightmares know that developer Tarsier Studios and Bandai Namco are very capable of delivering a haunting experience, which is one of the many reasons why players got excited when Little Nightmares II was announced in August of last year.
Unfortunately, not much was revealed about the game since the announcement. Originally, Bandai Namco revealed that Little Nightmares II would be launching at some point in 2020, but in August of this year it was confirmed that this would not be the case.
The good news is that Little Nightmares II was not delayed indefinitely. Players will now have to wait until the 11th of February to finally get their hands on this new horror game. What's more, Bandai Namco also confirmed that the upcoming title will also be launching on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
According to Bandai Namco, players who purchase Little Nightmares II for the PlayStation 4 or Xbox one will be able to upgrade to the next-gen version of the game completely free of charge. While the developers haven't specified what will be different, and enhancement in visuals is definitely to be expected.
As the people over at Bandai Namco and Tarsier Studios get into the Halloween spirit, they have decided to release yet another spine-chilling gameplay trailer for Little Nightmares II, which introduces players to The Doctor; the stuff nightmares are made of.
