Little Nightmares is a horror game with 2D platforming elements that was developed by Tarsier Studios and published by Bandai Namco. The game was originally released in 2017 on home consoles and PC, and was very well received by the video gaming community.
In August of last year, Bandai Namco and Tarsier Studios announced that they were working on Little Nightmares II, releasing a spine-chilling trailer that saw Mono, the game's new protagonist, accompanied by the first game's protaonist Six, and encountering some very sinister-looking creatures.
The developers didn't really share much information about the game, although they did announce that the game was expected to launch at some point in 2020. Regardless, the trailer looked as terrifying as the first game, so that already managed to get fans of the horror genre excited for Little Nightmares II.
Today Bandai Namco and Tarsier Studios have released a new trailer for Little Nightmares II, which shows off some new gameplay of Mono and Six, and reveals that the game will no longer be releasing this year, but on the 11th of February in 2021.
That is not all, as this new trailer also reveals that a PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X version of Little Nightmares II is currently in development, but the game's release date on Sony and Microsoft's next-gen consoles has yet to be confirmed.
