When Little Nightmares II was announced in August of last year, not that many details about the game were revealed. We do know that it is still a horror game, and that it will be introducing a new protagonist, as well as a new setting, but not much else.

For starters, gameplay for the game was finally revealed, and the developers also confirmed that the game will be launching in February of 2021.

On that very same not, Bandai Namco officially announced that Little Nightmares II will also be releasing for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, although the release date for the next-gen counterparts of the game have yet to be determined; still, pretty good news for fans of the series.

Bandai Namco has recently shared an interview with one of the producers for Little Nightmares II, who reveals a bunch of interesting details about the game itself. One of the best news is that those who purchase the current-gen version of the game will eb able to upgrade to the next-gen version completely free of charge.

The producer for the game also reveals details about Mono, the game's new main protagonist, and how this character is different from the previous game's main protagonist; revealing that Mono will be able to use any weapons at his disposal in order to fight enemies and even solve puzzles.

Take a look:

In a cruel world, a lonely boy finds a mission and a friend. Ride the line between excitement and terror as you run, jump, sneak, and fight your way through the Pale City and its Residents with Six by your side. Stop the Transmission before it can stop you, and you might survive.

Little Nightmares II is expected to release for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC on Thursday the 11th of February; PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X versions to release at a later date.
