You've probably heard about Hunt: Showdown before. The game gives five two-person teams a chance to fulfil a simple mission - killing a dangerous, grotesque beast, an enormous spider, for an example. The players share the same goal, but it's probably for the best to forget about working together as only one team gets a bounty and rewards.

Killing a beast is not enough and the players need to perform the ritual to send a monster back to where it came from. There's a catch, because the ritual unveils your position to the enemies and they would love to take your prize, which means that only the strongest survives. If you're interested, here's a tutorial video that gives you an in-depth look at the core Hunt's gameplay features:

You and your partner are members of a secret hunting society that tracks and kills monsters. The bounties are high, but so are the risks. The smallest mistake will cost you everything—your bounty, your gear, your life, and your very soul. Some hunt for wealth, some for power. Some hunt to protect others, some hunt for glory. You must track your quarry through a dark and treacherous world. Winner takes all. Fail, and go straight to hell.
