Kingdom Come: Deliverance has officially sold over 1 million copies since its February launch. Warhorse has promised the Deliverance team will continue patching the game and start a post-launch support. After four months, Deliverance still requires some work, despite getting an unprecedented day one patch of 23GB, but thanks to those late efforts, Kingdom is in a much better shape now and Warhorse can finally focus on "delivering" a quality content, introducing the first major DLC - From The Ashes.
Thanks to the DLC, you have a chance to play as a newly appointed bailiff, who must decide what buildings to erect and what people to bring in. It's not the only challenge, as your avatar must also settle, sometimes pretty heated, disputes between the villagers. Each building is unique and comes with its own upgrades, material and labor requirements, so you will face some difficult decisions.
From the Ashes also introduces new horses, games in your local tavern, and even a combat arena. More DLC will be out this year including The Amorous Adventures of Bold Sir Hans Capon and Band of Bastards. The fourth premium DLC, A Woman’s Lot, will release in early 2019. Retailing for $9.99, From the Ashes is available now for Xbox One, PS4 and PC, so check out this overview trailer down below:
Bohemia – located in the heart of Europe, the region is rich in culture, silver, and sprawling castles. The death of its beloved ruler, Emperor Charles IV, has plunged the kingdom into dark times: war, corruption, and discord are tearing this jewel of the Holy Roman Empire apart. One of Charles' sons, Wenceslas, has inherited the crown. Unlike his father, Wenceslas is a naive, self-indulgent, unambitious monarch. His half-brother and King of Hungary, Sigismund the Red Fox, senses weakness in Wenceslas. Feigning good will, Sigismund travels to Bohemia and kidnaps his half-brother. With no king on the throne, Sigismund is now free to plunder Bohemia and seize its riches.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance - From The Ashes is currently available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
