Warhorse studios' upcoming RPG game will be ditching the orcs, elves, witches, warlocks and dragons for a realistic, historically accurate medieval setting.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance is set in Bohemia, 1403, in a time of civil war. The game follows Henry, a blacksmith's son who is bent on a revenge-quest against King Sigismund, the man responsible for the massacre of his family and village.
While the main story remains fictional, Warhorse studios is aiming to surround players in the most realistic, medieval open-world as possible.
You will carry a realistic amount of items and weapons on you, combat will be deadlier and health potions and other buffs won't exist. It will include elements, such as hunting, crafting, and even manual sword-sharpening. There will be the necessity to eat, sleep and drink with many other realistic survival elements. The game respects human limitations just as much as it respects the historical accuracy of the setting.
