The official Twitter account for Dontnod's Life is Strange has announced a release date for the first episode of the sequel. Life Is Strange 2 will be releasing episode 1 on September 27. The announcement teaser can be viewed below. The Tweet also teases that additional information on the sequel will be revealed in August.
Published by Square Enix, the sequel was first officially confirmed back in May 2017 after months of rumors. For the sequel, a new location and cast of characters will be featured.
However, it's been confirmed that action taken in the Life is Strange spinoff game, The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit, will carry over to Life is Strange 2. The sequel will contain 5 episodes in total, with the first arriving this September.
