Lightfield is a game developed and published by Lost in the Garden, which is an independent video gam studio based in Vienna.
The concept for the game was originally pitched in 2014, when the team decided to make a game based on the classic 1995 racing game Slipstream 5000.
Lightfield was finally released in September of 2017 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
An updated version of the game was released for PC this year, on the 31st of July, in the form of
Lightfield HYPER Edition, which added solo play, online multiplayer, and even co-op gameplay in split-screen mode, plus a bunch of other content like campaigns and a new trick system, and a photo mode for the game.
Today, the
Lightfield HYPER Edition update is finally becoming available on the PlayStation 4 and we get a brand new trailer showing off the new features.
