Old School RuneScape has just released Varlamore: The Final Dawn, the climactic conclusion to the Varlamore questline. Available now for all OSRS members, this Master Level quest sends players on one final mission to battle the fearsome Doom of Mokhaiotl in a massive area expansion teeming with new content, zones, and game-changing loot. Here is a guide video showing off what is exciting in the new content from Jagex followed by all the details you need to know about the latest update in OSRS:
The update introduces three new regions for players to explore and travel in:
Auburnal Valley – An autumnal zone where players can hone their Fletching skills through a unique activity involving forest spirits.
Custodia Pass – A perilous slayer dungeon nestled against the Kebos Lowlands.
Tlati Rainforest – A lush tropical region home to the Talkasti people, two main settlements, and the new Gemstone Crab PvM boss. This special boss allows AFK skilling and gem mining for top damage contributors.
At the heart of it all is the Final Dawn quest, which challenges players to ally with the Queen and defend Itzla from the looming threat of Doom. Success yields powerful loot such as these new items:
Eye of Ayak – A one-handed magic weapon
Confliction Gauntlets – Enhancing combat utility
Avernic Treads – Upgradable boots that can fuse with Pegasian, Primordial, or Eternal boots for elite hybrid footwear
After defeating Doom, players must make a choice: take your loot and flee, or challenge an even more powerful version of the boss for rarer drops. Be warned—if you die in the second phase, all previous loot is lost.
Entry Requirements:
