After a rather long hiatus full of uncertainty regarding the franchise's future, Mega Man 11 was announced at the perfect time—and not only because it's the character's 30th anniversary, but because it was about time for Capcom to do something with their poster boy.

Mega Man 11 is bringing back every single one of the elements that made the franchise a household name ever since it was first introduced in the late 80s. Classic 2D side-scrolling gameplay, difficult platforming sections, unforgiving levels, challenging boss fights and—of course—some classic jump and shoot action.

While the game won't be out for a couple of months, fans of Capcom's Blue Bomber are already anticipating his triumphant return and Capcom has been kind enough to share a decent amount of information without spoiling the game too much. We know that there is a new Double Gear System that will change the way players approach ertain situations, as well as the boss fights.

Players have also been introduced to four of the new Robot Masters—Fuse Man, Block Man, Blast Man, and Torch Man—who are likely to be more than a proper challenge for players. Today, we get an introduction video for Blast Man and Torch Man, the latest Robot Masters to be introduced for Mega Man 11
