Morphies Law is a game developed and published by independent studio Cosmoscope, coming for the Nintendo Switch and PC. The Nintendo Switch version of the game was released just today and Cosmoscope has also revealed that a PC version is underway.

The game is a third-person shooter in which players grow in size by shooting the enemy. The way this works is by shooting any limb of the opponent—which will shrink upon impact—transfering the limb's size to your character's limb. This creates an interesting dynamic since most experienced players will get bigger the more they shoot other players—thus becoming easy targets. On the other hand, less skilled players will shrink in size, becoming difficult to hit.

Morphies Law allows players to go online and engage in 4-on-4 online multiplayer battles, or play with their friends in up to 8-person local multiplayer. Players who don't feel like playing online can choose offline mode and battle against bots instead.

Check it out:

Morphies Law is a robot morphology driven 3D shooter with a simple basic law: each weapon hit transfers mass from the victim’s damaged limb (making it shrink) to the corresponding limb of the attacker (making it grow).

Morphies Law is available for the Nintendo Switch today.
