Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker is the next title in the Naruto game franchise by Soleil Ltd. and Bandai Namco coming for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC this August.
The game will include avatar customisation, making the player the very own protagonist in
Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker—much like fellow Bandai Namco series
Dragon Ball Xenoverse. What sets Shinobi Striker apart from the Xenoverse series, though, is the fact that the game is including 4vs4 team battles, where players will be pitted against each other in teams while competing in modes such as Flag Battle, Combat Battle, and Base Battle. In today's video released by Bandai Namco, we get a first look at Base Battle, so that players can get familiar with this mode ahead of the game's release.
Base Battle will have players securing 3 bases located throughout the stages. It is important that players learn how to play well with others since securing the base will be faster if all members of the team are together.Defence type characters are very effective when it comes to securing the bases, so the other team members must support the Defence character in order to be successful.
Once the base has been secured, the team must protect it from their opponents from capturing it. Additional points will be added when more than 2 have been secured by a single team. The main goal is simple: protect the base by preventing your enemies from entering.
Attack and Defence types are great for securing bases while Attack while Ranged and Defence types are more effective when protecting it. Healers will also play an important role by making sure that their allies get all the support they need while heading towards a base.
