New Trailer for Unreal's "Close to The Sun" Has Dropped
Close to The Sun is an upcoming horror based game made in a similar style to BioShock. But instead of being a shooter based story game, the title is a classic action adventure. Click the jump for more details.
Not many people have been talking about Close to The Sun, and that's unfortunate. The game seems to have the correct level of intrigue and mystery to reel in an audience for the story and setting. Few of the things said in reference to the game, have been to compare it to the BioShock series, and more so in the fact that the setting is a very gritty and scary place that has been altered by science and the machinations of man. But instead of being a first-person shooter where you kill whatever threats that present themselves, more investigation and detective work is required for this title.
In it, you play Archer Rose, a journalist who boards a ship called the Helios which is Nikola Tesla's latest grand venture into achieving the perfect Utopia, even if he must make several sacrifices in the process. And if the horror aspect of the game isn't made abundantly clear, the description of the setting for the game will get the job done: "Grand halls stand empty. The stench of rotting flesh lingers in the air. Silence. A single word is painted across the entrance... Quarantine!" The game is described as a first-person horror adventure, with players making progress via problem solving. But, an interesting aspect of the game is that it will also feature teamwork, as you'll have an ally who helps you along your journey of discovery.
Close to The Sun will be released on May 2 on the Epic Games Store. Check the trailer out below.
