PlatinumGames' last game was not only critically acclaimed, but also highly successfully, with more than 2,5 million copies sold worldwide, and I would like to remind you that the game originally launched for PlayStation 4 and PC in 2017. A year later, Nier: Automata is finally available for Xbox One in the Become as Gods Edition and you can download it right now from the Microsoft store.
The NieR: Automata BECOME AS GODS Edition includes the action-packed core game, the 3C3C1D119440927 DLC which features Revealing Outfit costume for 2B, Young Man’s Outfit costume for 9S and Destroyer Outfit costume for A2. This elegantly titled edition also includes Machine Mask Accessory, Grimoire Weiss Pod, Cardboard Pod Skin, Retro Grey Pod Skin, and Retro Red Pod Skin.
In April, director Yoko Taro revealed that he would love to develop a proper continuation to Nier: Automata and the only issue that stops his team from making it right now it the sequel's potential budget, as it's up to Square Enix to pay for it. PlatinumGames is currently working on Babylon’s Fall, the studio's next project announced during Square's E3 2018 video presentation releasing next year.
