Hello Games'
No Man's Sky has completely redeemed itself with a bunch of updates that have been making the game everything the developer had promised it would be at launch. While it took them some time to get to where they are now, it is always commendable that they even chose to keep supporting the game after the massive backlash they saw when it first released.
No Man's Sky Next finally added the multiplayer component that players were looking forward the most at launch, as well as some other new additions that made the game feel more like a game rather than an unfinished procedurally-generated open world.
Today, Hello Games has released a brand new trailer introducing players to
The Abyss, a free update for all existing players, which reimagines the game's underwater gameplay by improving the graphics, adding new construction models that introduce creative possibilites for underwater habitats, 5 times more variety in aquatic flora and fauna, new awuatic substances—that can be collected, crafted, traded, and built—a new underwater jetpack to make exploration a whole lot easier, and even a new submersive vehicle.
No Man's Sky "
The Abyss" free update still has no release date but Hello Games reassures it's coming out soon.
