Although Fortnite is still in beta, and Epic Games is constantly updating the game with content, and quality of life changes. One major quality of life change that Epic Games could soon be bringing into Fortnite, is the ability to interact with the map, or have the map be more dynamic and detailed for players.

For instance, it would be incredibly helpful if the map zoomed out when the storm circle shrunk, allowing you to see the entirety of the safety circle in your mini map at the top right of your screen. It would also be amazing if you were able to control the map with a hotkey, and zoom in, or out, manually.

Check out this image below that Reddit user KyleHogey came up with that is a concept of what a map could look like when the circle is shrinking.

Map Concept

As you can see from their concept map image in the middle, you get a lot more information from looking at the proposed version of the map, than you would from looking at the current version of the map in the top right of KyleHogey's image.

According to Epic Games employee, EpicDustyDevo, minimap features like this are something that Epic has jotted down on their to-do list, which is probably overflowing with ideas from fans.

Do you think that Epic Games will be updating this feature soon? Are you a fan of the game? What gun is your favorite? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
