Following the intriguing tweet made last year by game director Hideaki Itsuno, many people have been speculating for a new Devil May Cry game.

Recently on Twitter, game designer Hideki Kamiya, who worked on the first 3 Devil May Cry games, offered some insight to fans wondering what kind of game a Devil May Cry 5 would be. Although there hasn't been any official announcement made by Capcom, Kamiya did not hesitate in expressing his thoughts:

"I think it's about time DMC got a game design revision. Looking at current global trends and the amazing graphics in recent Capcom games, the next DMC game could do with a full model change, like the new God of War. Instead of being an anime-style hack 'n' slash, maybe Capcom will turn DMC5 into a realistic, cinematic action game…"

Like he said himself, the upcoming God of War game went through the same redesign phase and it looks stunning.

Meanwhile, Hideaki Itsuno sent another mysterious tweet which can only lead us to believe the "project" they are working on is Devil May Cry 5.
