While we've known for a while that Star Trek: Bridge Crew wouldn't be ready in time for the launch of the PlayStation VR system, but it was expected to be available on November 29th on that, Oculus Rift, and HTC Vive. Unfortunately, Ubisoft announced today that it will now be released on March 14th, next year, a considerable delay. Why the change? They haven't provided any details, but in a brief post, they did say that it's due to them wanting to, "deliver the best game experience possible at launch."

The Trench contains stunning beauty and undiscovered wonders, but also strange anomalies and dangers yet unknown. The Klingon Empire is also active in the region, and their purpose is undoubtedly a threat to the Federation’s plans. It’s up to you and your crew to chart the sector to determine the Klingons’ aims, and to secure a peaceful Federation presence.
