Hover is a game developed by Midgar Studio, in conjunction with Fusty Game, and published by Playdius that was initially released on Steam in May of 2017.

The game is drawing inspiration from Sega's classic Jet Set Radio and Jet Set Radio Future, released for the Dreamcast in 2000 and 2002, respectively. Hover's soundtrack is composed by Cedric  Menendez with the participation of Hideki Naganuma, who is the original composer for Jet Set Radio, and inspired by dynamic J-Pop music similar to that of Jet Set Radio—giving Hover that classic Jet Set Radio feel.

Hover will also allow players to play solo, or be joined by friends online—being able to participate in a bunch of events that go from score battles to races, all in real time. The game offers a huge open-world in the form of Hover City, which is currently being oppressed by the anti-leisure laws.

Players can choose to play in either first-person, third person, or even usign auto-camera that mixes both views, offering a more dynamic experience.

Experience the thrills of a fast-paced single and multiplayer Parkour game. Join the Rebellion and deride the security forces of an anti-leisure tyranny. Rise up to the many challenges of a futuristic open world. Assemble your team, enhance your gear and perform incredible tricks and combos.

Hover will be available for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One on the 19th of September.
